Originally from Hawaii, the girl traveled to Las Vegas to pursue a dancing career, where she was scouted by a representative of the Le Scandal cabaret, where she now works, based out of their New York location.  how long have you been dancing & what got you interested in it? my entire life. i did ballet when i was a kid and eventually moved on to every class i could get into. when i was in high school, i was in dancing, winning loads of awards for my performances. it wasn't until after i moved to vegas when i branched out to this particular field. have you always lived in new york? have you ever seen yourself living elsewhere? oh gosh no! i've only been here a few months. i lived in vegas for about two years and then hawaii my entire life before that! what inspires your everyday life? dita von teese, kitten deville. if you can't tell, i'm extremely inspired by these women. i aspire to take after dita's fashion sense, but no one could ever replicate that kind of beauty! if you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? mm, would i gain weight while eating these things because i might have to go with something boring like carrot sticks if so. i'd like to say salt bagels with salmon and jalapeno cream cheese, though. carbs always go to my thighs. where do you see yourself in ten years? professionally and personally? maybe working i paris? modeling? working as a choreographer? i dunno, somewhere new and exciting. this is fun and i love my job, but i can't see staying in one place for ten years. what do you love most about dancing? it's all i've ever known! i wasn't very good in school and i wasn't very good at anything my parents wanted me to be good at, but when i started dancing? it was amazing. i was so good at it! it was the one thing that my parents could be proud of me for. describe yourself in 5 words blonde, beautiful, happy, lucky, hungry, right now. after talking about food, i could really do with a big mac. what are three things you couldn't live without coffee, phone, phone, phone, phone. honestly, i spend so much time on my phone that i should look into rehab. in between performances, i'm on my phone. when i can't sleep, i'm on my phone. heck, when i'm supposed to getting ready for work, i'm on my phone! where would we find you on the weekend, or on your day off? work. i spend a lot of my time at the club, even when i'm off. if not, i try to get out. go to the park, go shopping, get coffee, whatever it takes. i have a small coffee addiction so it's probably the coffee shop down the street from my apartment. what have you been listening to recently? tay swifty. she's too adorable. who is your #1 role model, dead or alive? i think everyone in my business would answer "bettie page." ________________________________________ your name rae |
