A Diary Entry Saturday, June 6th, 2015.
I attended my first ever frat party at USC tonight. I went with Maggie, Eden and Charlie, of course. We heard about the party through Charlie's older brother...he's a brother of Pi Kappa Phi, and his frat was the one throwing the party. I had never been to a big frat party like this before, so I was very excited and maybe even a little nervous to attend a party at this big of a scale, you know?
Anyway, the girls came over to my house and we got ready in my room. They all helped me pick out my outfit...as I wanted to make a good first impression on the boys. And maybe the girls? (We'll get into that later)...anyway. I wore denim cut off, black combat boots, a white tank top, and a denim vest. We curled my hair, and accessorised with my normal go-to lipstick and my red bandana. We left the house around 10:30 and arrived to the party promptly at 11pm. Traffic was fucking terrible.
Anyway. GOD I'M REPETITIVE. We got there and immediately got constant stares and looks. I racked up various numbers, and flirted a bit, kissed a bit and you know...the usual. I got a glass of their juice, which I'm pretty sure has various alcohol in it and maybe even other things. We got that, and I headed down to the basement where I started up a conversation with this ridiculously hot sophomore....Romy Townsend. She's a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and close friends with Charlie's older brother.
We talked for hours it seems like...and then things got heated. I guess it was a blend of the heat, the drinks, the constant touches, the looks....I don't know. But I ended up kissing Romy and kissing her and kissing her. And touching her. And we moved to her place. And I woke up naked. My clothes on the floor. Intertwined with her body. I don't know how it happened or why it happened....but I liked it. And I want more of it. I need more of her.
I'm conflicted. I need to see her to figure this shit out....I don't know.
Love eternally, SS

Three POV's:
"Sadie Strickland is a girl that I've shared many ups and downs with. We grew up together, fell in love together, and fell out of love together. She was the first girl that I ever looked at like that...she was the first girl I had ever touched in that way and she was the first girl that I shared a lot of things with. We ultimately ended our relationship on really bad terms, and for a while I couldn't stand to look at her. I couldn't stand to be around her because she was just so intoxicating towards me. We've been friends (again) for a little over 8 months now and I couldn't be happier to have her as a friend. She's beautiful, charming, strong, independent, creative and has a good good heart. She deserves the world, and I hope someday, someone will realize that and will give that to her. I really do." -- Toby West, 19, Ex-Boyfriend
"Sadie has been my best friend for 16 years. We've been through so much shit together, and I couldn't thank her enough for bailing me out of so many situations. She's the brains of the group. The fort-keeper, the mother hen...the Monica Gellar. She's logical, the thinker, and never does something without thinking through the outcomes first. However, she's anal, and can be quite cynical at times. She's the golden girl -- blonde, blue eyes, killer bod, athletic, creative...everything you'd ever want in a friend, in a girl. You know? She's going to go far in this world, and I can't wait to see her succeed at everything she does. I'm excited for her journey at USC. And I can't wait to take it on right by her side. Unless she gets swooped up by some boy there." -- Sara Dawson, 18, Best Friend
"Out of all my children, no one brings a joy to my life like Sadie does. She is brilliant, beautiful, and destined for great things. At a young age, she had a talent for writing, sports and everything in between. Things just came naturally for her, you know? She was gifted -- in every sense of the word. She never gave up an opportunity to expand her mind, expand her growth. She didn't give up on her dreams, even when obstacles were constantly thrown her way. She has a light about the world, a way of thinking about the world that is so different than any other person I've ever seen. Her mind is wired differently than others -- but that, in no way, hinders her thinking or her vision of life. She has become such a beautiful woman and I am excited to see where her journey takes her." -- Matthew Strickland, 50, Father

A Quote: “This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they'll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soulmate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.” - Marilyn Monroe
