.................... ---------- The cab was taking forever; every second she waited, every minute that passed, her heartrate was increasing. The girl was a nervous wreck -- standing on the outside street outside of her Manhattan apartment. Biting her nails, she was looking both ways, waiting for the yellow car to pull up to take her to her destination. She needed to get to Noah's place. She needed to find refuge in the man she was now calling "boyfriend." Things had hit the fan just a mere hour ago; all because Greer wanted to tell her bandmates of the situation she was in. Greer wanted to be honest...and instead of getting the answer she wanted, she got hit in the face with a large dose of reality. In her eyes, Greer didn't think that what she was doing -- this relationship thing -- with Noah, their producer was nothing to fuss about. However, her bandmates, Ursula especially, though the opposite. All that's transpired within a few hours has hit the girl hard, and the only person she wants to go to is him...the core of the issues. ---------- Finally, after standing out in the cold for under thirty minutes, the yellow cab pulls up. A hand reaches the door to let herself in the cab. She reaches up to the driver to get him the fare -- she's gone to his place so many times that at this point, she doesn't even need to wait for the driver to finish to pay him for his services. She gives the driver the address, and pulls out her headphones to listen to music on the way to his apartment. Greer is retracing every moment that has transpired; looking for outs. Looking for further reasoning behind Ursula's volatile mood, and in a way, searching for a way to figure out how to bring all of this out to Noah rather than dropping a huge bomb on him the minute she gets into the door. Greer fidgets with her skirt, playing with the hem. Her foot is stamping along to the rhythm of the song; distracting herself from the situation at hand. Another few minutes pass, and the driver pulls her up to the familiar brickstoned building. Finally, she's arrived to Noah's place...and finally, she begins to oddly calm down from the riveting situation. ---------- She yells a soft "Thank you" to the middle-aged driver, and gathers her belongings. She makes her way to the front of building, letting herself in. Greer arrives to the elevator door, and walks in once it reaches the bottom floor. She presses the floor level needed, and gathers her thoughts together as she makes her way to Noah's door. Eventually, she lands on the 7th floor and finds her way to his apartment. She hears movement from inside, and lets her hands gather into a fist to bang on the door. "Noah! It's G...let me in, please. Now. It's urgent. Like really fucking urgent." She hesitates, and her anxiety is picked back up again. She needs Noah to open up the door. She needs to get this all out of her chest before she panics and freaks out. Moreso, Greer is craving the attention and touch of him to calm her down. Things need to be settled, and Noah is the only person who can do that for her right now. ---------- "Noah please..." she manages to get those words out, before she feels her voice start to shake. In a second, tears begin to well from her eyes. This is how bad things have gotten.
