I get that all of that looked really bad now, and in a way I wish I was fucking cheating on you. 'Cause the truth of the matter is I was drinking myself blind until I was passed out at the end of the bar, and I am sorry for that, but it's not what it looked like.

maisie It'll be hard for me to adjust to not keeping tabs on you. In some ways I would almost prefer that you were having an affair, I can see how you could pick spending time with another woman over spending time with me. But spending time with a bottle? Less so.

jack I turned my location services off for you. Right? Me too. There’s no other woman I’d choose over you, unfortunately. I told you it’s embarrassing. But I haven’t had a single drink or drop in 184 days, not like it matters at all but I figured I’d tell you.

jack I'll miss knowing where you are too. No? Why would I do that?

maisie I have a very short list of places I go to. Because it would give me a lot of peace of mind. That and you not drinking... it would be different.

jack You and I both, at least my moves are predictable. That's the story you tell yourself now, but there was a time I was working in my brother's shop and it didn't make any a difference. This job is half of what's keeping me in check right now. And it's a my job, I can't just quit it like that.
