NORA Katherine got word I was sending you a present!! And we know she loves you!! Aka why I’m apologizing! How’s your fam?!

ROSIE Oh no. Tell her I don't need anything! They're doing good! Were so happy to see me for Thanksgiving, I think they're bummed I'm not coming back for Christmas but I feel better traveling less. Been up in Ithaca for a bit, we'll see when we get to the city aka to see you again. How's your side?

NORA I tried! You'll know what I mean when you see it, what Katherine has gifted you. I'm sure they are bummed but def for the best. What were your plans for the holiday? Please come see me soon I miss you. We shouldn't be separated this long. Eh, they are alright. I'm so over my Dad and Dean being a duo right now. I'm going crazy living with them.  I wasn't honestly going to stay at the brownstone by myself, but my mom summoned me.

ROSIE Between you, her and Tate, you're unstoppable. Just was with Tate and saw his family - wouldn't say low key but I think low key for them compared to what they're used to. I miss you too! Summon yourself out of there!! Aren't you looking for your own place? Snap up some real estate!

NORA What did Tate get you for Christmas?! Oooh a McCarthy low-key Christmas. I didn’t know that could even exist for them! Did you have a good time? Come see me ASAP plz. I know!!! I only came for Conor. So as soon as dinners done I’m making our driver take me home!! I have a few prospects in mind!! I need to show you!! Why do I feel like such a grown up doing this?

ROSIE Too much. A Gucci bag, my V&R perfume, sunglasses to replace the ones I broke, a 'voucher' for our graduation trip we never got. He got some sweet things for my family also, he was good! Yeah, I did! Though I miss you tons, it was sad we didn't get a good finish to our senior year. Because you are! Tate and I may look for a place soon too, who knows. Adulting's sneaking up on us. NORA Oh my gosh, he did so well!!! I am so impressed with him. Tell him I’m going to be expecting my gift soon just kidding!! I know. You could imagine us the rest of our senior year? All the fun stuff? It might have been so dangerous honestly!! I miss our night outs. Can you believe the next step in your relationship is moving in?! Coming from the guy who used to break my things. So grown up! I will!! My dad gave me a list of places he wants me to live near or “recommended” to be close to my internship. So what did I do? Make tours at places he doesn’t approve of, duh.

ROSIE Yeah he's alright, haha. Kidding. I think he'd fall over and die if you gave him a well meaning gift. At this point if I'm even missing a night out, you know it's getting bad! We'll have to pull an NYC all nighter or something crazy when we can. Break it in. We haven't talked too much about it but at this point we basically have been since the pandemic started. If we can live in a house with both our families together we can do a lot. You have to find a place you love, not just a convenient one. I can't wait to visit.

NORA We have to!! We'll make a super big deal out of it too. Hopefully we won't be super old when that happens. At this point, idk if I will even have my same tolerance! How have you guys been lately? OK? Or am I going to have to have a talk with dear Tate McCarthy?

ROSIE I think we're all hopeful for next year! Have a g&t a day, will keep it all steady. Though to be honest, tolerance in college is just wild. Alright! Ups and downs but comes with the program. You two being salty with one another wouldn't help anything, paws off.

NORA Let's be vv hopeful because we deserve it!! I know it wasn't your thing all the time though. But those days need a last hurrah. Adult life is scary. Yeah yeah yeah, I know. I'm just protective over you. Although you have to admit I have been better!! Not as mean as I was.
