Theo tilts his head, giving her puppy eyes. "Dolly, you should have said. If it was too much for you I could have loaned you cash, I know times are tough." In truth it had felt pretty extravagant. He's secretly thrilled that she followed through. "I've never bought a Gameboy so I wouldn't know. How old are you?!" He laughs at the thought of himself stripping off on a webcam, shaking his head. "You could Venmo me. But I'm afraid it's not happening, not until I've done some crunches."

Her cheeks blush, I spent my allowance on dinner. She dives into the burger and it tastes like when she was a kid and her dad would bring her for lunch at McDoanlds. My brother had.. oh nevermind! she waves him off and dabs her lips with a napkin. You are such a tease! Such a tease!!! She sighs, already full with the saltiness of their meal. She leans back and waves herself down, I think this is the most sober I've been around you. You're actually really hot! I'm so happy.

He eats the burger in about three bites, groaning on the last one. "God, there really isn't a better food. So fucking good, I owe you," he says, meaning it. He was an easy to please man. He takes a swig of beer, noticing that he's already running low. He'd drank more than he thought before she joined, his nerves a mess from the minute he'd woken up. He laughs, incredulous once more. "Even with the hair? I think my low res camera is doing me a lot of favors, but if you keep talking like that then I'll take my shirt off after all."

I swear they must put crack in it, Dolly pushes the apple pie away, not even able to look at it. The lifts her wine glass and laughs, you know what, it's growing on me. It's not even thaaaaat bad. She finishes her glass, her cheeks grow a rosy red as she slips away from soberity. I shaved for this, she bites her lips and laughs at the absurdity of it, I even wore the lingerie, see?

"You have no idea how annoying it was before, always flopping in my eyes," he says, opening up the apple pie, the smell of its cinnamon laden filling competing with the cinnamon candle that was still flickering away. He's biting down on the pie when she mentions shaving, and lingerie-- immediately his heart rate quickens, his eyes widening slightly as a rush of heat surges through him. He groans. "Why'd you have to say that? Now I can't stand up."

She twists a piece of hair around her index finger and raises her brow, uhm, I do have an idea. And you've so selfishly taken away the opportunity to French braid your hair. She pulls down a spaghetti strap to show the black lace of her bra, I'm sorry, didn't you ask me to wear this? Wasn't it under your list of demands?

"Oh, I guess you do," he says, taking the opportunity to lean back a little, taking her in. He had been guilty of online stalking her, looking at pictures of her at galas and press events, always so glossy and preened. She looked well presented now, of course, but more real. She looked more her age. "Like I said, it'll grow back and you'll be the first person I call. I love having my hair played with, I'm as disappointed as you are." He puts the pie down, offering a dramatic sigh as though he's deeply inconvenienced. "OK. Do you want me to jerk off with camera on or off? Lady's choice."

She'd always seen him when she was hazy. First gaping over him while she sad in an ambulance, repeatedly telling him how absolutely gorgeous he was. She'd pushed these thoughts away the morning after her emergency mishap, only feeling the nausea of embarrassment. We'll be married by then, no need to call, she winks at him and grabs the bottle of Weathers Estate Wine. Cool your jets, we've got plenty of them to work you up. Excuse your roommates first.

He raised his eyebrows, nodding again. "Oh yeah? My hair grows pretty quickly so you better start picking out a dress." He picked the apple pie up again, taking another bite of it, molten apple filling his mouth and burning his tongue. He opens another beer, having taken the six pack into his room, not trusting his twin around alcohol. "Where am I supposed to tell them to go? Though, I wasn't going to tell you this but now I am... I passed on a surefire lay to take this call." He keeps munching on the apple pie. "So no pressure, but my expectations are high."

She clasps her hands excitedly, I cannot wait to say yes to that dress! She pours herself an second glass of wine. She'd been so bored and alone in her quiet house, it was nice to actually talk and get along with someone. A surefire lay? Like you passed up fucking someone? she takes a long sip and points at him, bitch, you should be thanking me. You could have got Covid. She pulls her strap back onto her round shoulder, so ungrateful.

He had seen pictures of Thompson Weathers' wedding online, an affair so extravagant he couldn't have afforded it in a hundred lifetimes. He had always assumed he would eventually get married in a small ceremony somewhere in Alaska, but that did not seem like a future that would align with Dolly's. "She's a nurse, works with Elyse and I see her at work sometimes. If she had it we'd all have it anyway." He pouts as she returns her strap. "Now who's the tease. Come on then, have you actually turned your Switch on?" He hears himself, laughing. "Nintendo, I mean."

Ooooo, a nurse, she sips her wine with a giddy smirk, honestly, you should have said yes. It would have gotten you more than bragging rights. Her phone pings and her eyes dart to see who has messaged her. Family meeting - 11AM, from her stepmother. Dolly turns her eyes down and thinks for a moment, then pushes her phone right off the counter. It lands with a small clatter. My switch is always on. My Nintendo... is still in the box by the front door.

"It wasn't a one off offer," he says, chucking the empty apple pie carton onto the desk. "This might be hard for you to believe, Dolly Weathers, but normal girls love me. I'm a real catch for your run of the mill, not famous, not hideously rich basic girl." He watches as she looks at her phone, the slightest feeling of envy creeping in as he wonders if it's Damien. He brushes it off. "Okay, okay. How about you get some practice in and we can reconvene another time for a race. It just wouldn't be fun to wipe the floor with you on your first shot."

Aren't you finding that "famous" girls love you too? she breaks off a bit of the pie and drops it into her mouth. Such a catch. Like a take-him-home-to-mama type. Paramedic, vaguely represents a Disney Prince.. Knight in shining ambulance! Truthfully, she could see herself getting completely addicted to something like the Switch. Her competitive personality and addictive tendencies would kill her sleeping pattern. Isn't Mario Kart the one with the bananas?

"Hmmm." He pretends to ponder the question, his head tilted to one side. "Hard to say. I find famous girls hard to read, especially when they fuck my friends." He hears himself and takes a long swig of beer to stop himself saying anything else. "That was my last jab, by the way. I'll move from sour to sweet, after all, I'm sure Jake hasn't had the pleasure of a Zoom McDonalds date." He laughs at her description. "Moms think I'm trouble, I guess I sound too good on paper. What about you though, how'd Damien's folks like you?" He shakes his head, taking yet another swig. "That's Donkey Kong. Maybe in some versions, though."
