S T E L L A No, not at all. If anything it’s just strengthened my empathy. I feel like the little ones are the ones the hospital are ok with letting you be attached to - so you feel for everyone. And just try to understand and keep learning to see if maybe one day, if a certain complication arises, you can fix it.

S T E L L A Just give us a picket fence and a golden retriever at this point. But it’s the nature of the job, I’m glad I was called to do something like this. Very fulfilling when they grow up and go home.
