SAMIRA I am thisclose to calling that bar and asking for their veggie nacho recipe. Fully understanding I could see all the ingredients, but I have yet to be able to recreate from your birthday.

Aaron Next time I go back I'll pester them about it. First time I ever tried it, wish I had sooner. Ingredients are half the battle, proportions are the other.

SAMIRA There was a spice dust on the chips, I was enthralled. I hope you had a good time. What a crowd!

Aaron I'm friendly with one of the servers, I got you covered. It was a great turnout, had the time of my life. Coulda done without all those embarrassing old pictures of me on display, but still. A whole bunch of people who would otherwise never be in a room together.

SAMIRA Steal a shaker if you must, I'll post bail for it. Oh no, those are par for the course and Ish would never miss an opportunity to show them around. Have to keep your head from getting too big with those recognizable friends of yours.

Aaron I'm gonna wind up washing dishes for days to pay off my debts. It was nice of him to crop himself out. I don't know how I ended up being a celebrity magnet, but here we are. Now everybody can finally believe me. Glad you got to finally place some faces to names.

SAMIRA Do you think people really did that when they couldn't pay their checks, back in the day? Are you surprised? Who knew that celebrities needed more hobbies? It was fun, you've collected a lot of people. It's been very nice to see. Settling, maybe.

Aaron Probably with how cheap it was back then. Now you'd have to do a couple hours to cover a nice meal. Never, but I am glad he kept you in too. I'm just glad they didn't get the place shut down. Anyone you really liked talking to?

SAMIRA Just not sure what measurement they'd use to make sure the debt is repaid. Exhaustion? Wild hair and all, he's always the traitor among us. I still never trust him playing Clue. I bet they enjoyed playing incognito. I liked Taylor, he had some of your mellowness and was warm to talk to. I liked your cousin, your army lot. It was an easy crowd across the board, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Aaron I don't intend to ask once I nab this recipe and seasoning of theirs. Just borrowing, is all. I always liked the big wild hair. Had a mind of its own. Taylor's great, yeah. It was a trip to meet his girl finally. And I still can't believe Brooke came, I haven't seen her in years. I had so much fun maybe I'll make it a decadal thing, with the time shifting earlier each party.

SAMIRA I'm sure that excuse will go over well. Maybe I'll just have to go back and beg for the recipe myself. Still does, sometimes. I can only control it when I wish to. I liked her too, the louder personality made sense in their balance. Truly no bad apples in the tree - though I can't wait until we go to bed at 2pm when we're 60. We'll have to turn the bar stools into rocking chairs.

Aaron No need to beg, it's one of my home bases. How about we go again together sometime? You still braid it for surgery? I'm gonna start keepin up with them better. Man, we used to think older people were so boring. Turns out you just want to be comfortable and well rested, it makes sense now.

SAMIRA I think we could manage that. If it behaves. Sometimes I have to get it back before I go in or it's a lost cause. You seem to do a good enough job for everyone. I feel like we all worry about not spending enough time, or finding more. But people's depths are different. They knew something we clearly didn't!

Aaron I'll be cashin in on that game of pool I was promised. After sittin behind you in enough classes I think I've seen every good and bad Samira hair day possible. Why thanks. Haven't reached my maximum yet I don't think. It's making me practice my texting and emailing skills. I'm on to them now. Trying to prepare my friends who are still in their 20s.

SAMIRA Much to my own chagrin I am still all talk about it, but I could surprise us. Usually every morning too, a true lion until I was awake enough to tame it. Welcome to the digital age! It’s very short focus times, still jarring to me too here and there. And hey, it’s knowledge they can experience when they’re older. Easier in practice versus explanation!
