Aaron I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. Even though it was all so new back then, I saw a beginning and an end. Just needed to fill in the middle. Always knew, like I know the sky's blue and water's wet.

Aaron I know. I was in over my head, didn't realize how much I'd gotten into. Thought I could get around it somehow, be the exception not the rule. It would've been worse if I proposed before I left. No way you'd've said yes but still.

Aaron The dyin part didn't worry me. It was just being away. 30 days a year isn't enough. We're still young.

SAMIRA That was a lot of blind faith, even for me. It’s ok now, we know that, but it felt very different then.

Aaron I know. But to your question, I did think about it back then. Did you? Why'd you think 24?

SAMIRA I'm sorry, I didn't - or didn't consistently. I was looking at my school future and then after summer it got...harder. I don't know - 24, 25. I thought it was the normal time, not knowing how I'd actually feel as a 24 year old.

Aaron That's alright, wasn't a test or anything. You had a lot of plans, I was lucky to be tagging along. And now?
