Jack We could alternate, do Thanksgiving with my folks and Christmas with yours? With New Year's as the wildcard. Or we can start being Montana summer tourists instead, I don't even think I have enough layers to visit in the winter anymore.

S Y L If you're sure that's not going to upset anyone! My dad's obviously there so we can tick him off at Thanksgiving but you know Dim's easy, he won't be annoyed if he doesn't see me. I'll see my mum whenever. So I can really be flexible, why don't you check with Maggie before we get carried away? But it's soooo pretty in the snow.

Jack We can sort it out on Saturday. Maybe Maggie will want to host everyone in Idaho. I'm not sure when that torch will pass to us since I don't ever foresee my dad boarding an airplane. Are you volunteering for shoveling duty?

S Y L I'd love that. We could take charge at your dad's, or do you think that would be too unsettling? With these nails??

Jack I'm sure they could stand to be relieved of hosting duties. We'll call it a cultural exchange program of sorts. That's what I thought. It snows in London sometimes, yeah?

S Y L I'll try not to let the pressure get to me. Barely, a little bit in late January or February and everything grinds to a halt but it's like 2cm and beautiful for a minute before it turns to sludge. Most years not at all.

Jack You're with a pro, no pressure necessary. That still blows my mind. I am getting used to California weather though, well worth the hype.

Jack I absolutely would. Want to practice with a friendsgiving? Fortunately we'll be away, wherever we decide.

S Y L That would be so fun, we can have it at mine and lure Sara back! Isn't it crazy that it'll be our second Christmas already?

Jack Do you know if that oven works? It is. We didn't really get a fair shake at it last year though, it happened so soon after. This feels like the real deal now.

S Y L Sometimes you just need a lil extra storage. ... really? I think I'd cry if we had a pub Christmas lunch. Have you ever had a mince pie? Or Christmas pudding? Or a Christmas cracker?!
