minou go to an onsen, though that's gendered too so you two will have to buddy up again. the shopping in ginza is insane, i prefer the countryside to the cities though. the bullet train is the best, it's the only public transport i can abide.  it's touristy but we can get drunk at golden-gai. that's the last time and place i got truly blackout, drinking shōchū and soda like it was water.

minou i'm different around my japanese family, so prepare yourself for that. i don't want to hear a word about it. i've never stayed in a ryokan.
