LILY Can have a bunch of people just bring their hobby pieces in to sell...though I guess then that's technically just a market at that point. I got a degree in composition - at first I thought I'd end up being just a writer, but life had other plans. Oh, really? What was that like?

Aaron Yeah a co-op or somethin. I do like going to those markets though. Thrifting and antiquing too. Writer for books not songs? I tried but college wasn't for me. It was a blessing, they're good people. I wouldn't be much without them. They're still in LA, I'm close with them and my mom. How about your folks?

LILY I recently bought a house so, furniture was my obsession for a while. And no, songs still. My degree was technically composition and music theory. It wasn't my favorite either. That's nice - good family is good family no matter how you come across them. My entire family's pretty close knit - my dad passed a few years ago though, he was sick. Miss him every day but I find a lot of things that remind me of him.

Aaron Did you get a chance to really move in or is that for when you get back? But hey you stuck it out and ended up in the same field. I'm sure your alma mater brags. Sorry for your loss. Is everyone still back in New Mexico?

LILY I had about 8 months so made a pretty big dent, but still a lot to be done. Also something to do on the bus, look at furniture and plan. Gonna be honest, haven't been back! Thank you. My mom is, yeah. My brother's back and forth between there and LA, but he built a studio in NM so mostly prefers to be there. He's bigger on solitude.

Aaron Sure, between that and renos you're never really done. I don't own yet but I'll be excited to. Was it a school back home? Sounds like an interesting guy. How goes your bar fun?

LILY Yeah, University of New Mexico. My mom's been getting plenty of alumni requests for me for donations all of a sudden... Well, everyone left me to go have a ski ball competition so, I'd say distracted but fine. What have you been doing this entire time?

Aaron Sounds about right. Hell maybe they'll give you an honorary doctorate someday. I'm a sucker for that game. And the one knocking down the clowns. I've been throwin my dog's ball to his heart's desire. Cracked open a beer, figured I'd join you in drinking.

LILY Haha I'm not sure I'd be the best harbinger of education for them, I was very ready to be out of there! What kind of dog do you have? And you start I have to wrap it, haha. 3 drinks is a crowd for me.

Aaron He's a mutt but I think a decent amount border collie so he never runs out of energy. Name's Ukiah, that's where he was found roaming. Where to next for you?

LILY Did you find him or did you rescue him from somewhere? Minneapolis. Doing a West Coast/Midwest loop and then will fly to the East and start that trek. Kind of a weird path but a lot of tours going on.

Aaron Got him from a rescue. Just a happy accident we found each other. Good time of year to be there I would think. It's been nice texting you, I was almost worried this would be a practical joke or something.
