nai i will be remembering this. what's your process like, just sit down and go or do you have a routine?

niko And we're definitely getting ice cream tonight, after dinner. Depends on my mood and what it is I'm writing. Today I was writing sort of something sad, about my brother, so it was a lot of sitting in my head,  putting a few words to a notebook.

nai k but i want it known that dinner was my idea. give me a little something. that must be tough. and uncomfy. but i'm sure it's really good, and maybe even a little cathartic?

niko OK OK. You'll get the credit. Haha, why do you want that so bad? Definitely cathartic. It's why I enjoy writing. It feels like a good way to let out some pent up feelings.

nai i want my effort recognized. i make moves too. that sounds really nice, must feel good to return to after not writing for a while.

niko Your effort is recognized. It does. But we'll see what happens?

nai ^_^ do you ever write for yourself, not necessarily for songs?

[niko blackwood]

niko I do some daily gratitudes and some journaling. If I can remember, some days I forget haha.

nai aw me too, that and a short meditation or attempt at it. i call them my dailies. i loove watching people in the creative process. it feels so intimate.

niko It helped me a lot when I was going through some shit. Are you pretty consistent then?

[naima bell]

nai do you keep everything or write it to forget it? i'm mostly consistent, i try.

niko Yeah, I keep it all. Have a journal. My old ones are stored somewhere in my house. Good for you.I really need to be better, I was consistent for a bit.

nai that's neat. i have super old stuff i go through once in a while, a trip down memory lane. how have you been otherwise since i last saw you?

niko Journals or? Been good, finally not so busy and happy to not be traveling for a bit. How about you?

nai journals and photo albums, my mom kept some school stuff too. sometimes it's so cringe. i've been good too. slowing and calming post-halloween, ready to cozy it up.
