Jack Anything fun lately? Halloween? For sure, that's the dream. Though I can only imagine Sylvia in one of three places: LA, NY, London.

Pat We had a big party, yeah. God, so much damage at the end of that one but was a great time. Gotta stays off the Negronis for a little while longer though. You two get up to anything? Big city forever, huh. Big changes all around for you.

Jack Is that what the kids are having these days? We went to three parties that week! I'm still 5% hungover, I figure I'll remain that way this whole month honestly. We're going to Montana for Thanksgiving, my grandpa hasn't been well so it'll be good to see him.

Pat They're basically an adult Aperol Spritz. Kids these days drink a fuck ton of tequila blanco, about all I can nail down. Let me guess, different costume for each? It's a gauntlet of a party week, always goes through two full weekends and then it's smack into the holidays. No recovery for anyone. Shit though, I'm sorry. We're training down the night before, weighing if Stas'll run if I ask her to come.

Jack Really? Wild, that was purely for blackout purposes when we were coming up. Also about as exotic as you could get in Montana. You know it, and all coupley. Thursday is a little extra brutal, it basically becomes a four-day affair. Hey he's a champ, can't keep Johnny down. Does she usually do stuff with her family?

Pat Moonshine did the trick much easier, can promise you that. Thursday's always the worst day I think. You have no excuses. Her family's kind of complicated. I wanna say yes, but I also wanna say she doesn't always enjoy it. So a thin line I'm trying to tread lightly.

Jack That was a ticket to the hospital or jail. I shudder to remember. Do kids go trick-or-treating in the city? Is that a lost art? Throw it out there at least, might be worse to not invite at all.

Pat Or both. Yeah, they do actually. Know a few friends whose blocks were shut down for kids to walk around to, seemed cute. Maybe some high-rises do it too, I don't know really. Fair. Just never know how something's gonna land with her sometimes but you're right. Worse for it to not even land at all.

Jack Waking up after getting your stomach pumped, handcuffed to the bed railing. We didn't get any, but I don't blame them for flocking to the Hills and getting full-sized candy bars. Doesn't hurt to throw it out there! It would also be normal to spend the holidays apart, that can be pretty daunting so soon.

Pat Poetic, really. My parent's bar is notorious for their candy, funnily enough. They get swarmed before the sun goes down. Yeah, trying to figure it out. I think we both kind of are.
