ROSIE Always how it's been and will be. He's a McCarthy, I will never get the final say and I've always known that. She is the only person in this world that could probably make an honest man out of you so. Happy for you.

freddie Rosie.. It's true. I think my mom loves her more than me now.

ROSIE What? That's a pretty objective fact and we both know it. And are you in Daisy's good graces?

freddie It may be. Love you but come on..listen to yourself! If Tate heard you say that too he'd even be like what the fuck. I personally don't think you guys are finished, but I don't want you to hang on to that. You should be happy too. You want him to be, but so should you. Sure am! I always have been loved by Daisy. But letting her basically pick out the ring (with the help of my mom too, of course) definitely won her over.

ROSIE Love you too, and I hate that I have to say it like this, but you won't necessarily 'get it'. I'm incredibly successful, do well for myself, all of that...but nothing holds a candle to being born into wealth like you all were. And I could love him my entire life but if his family didn't approve, it wouldn't matter. Luckily they liked me enough, and you're right, Tate didn't necessarily care, but even then I am very much an outsider. Smart move - I would have been scared if you tried to pick it yourself. Did you ask her dad for permission?
