"Caleb Miller entered my life the summer I turned 15. Initially, I was totally not into him. He was this blue-eyed, cocky bad boy who was trying to make all the moves on the new girl. He annoyed me to no end. He hit on me every chance he could get, and never, not once, got the hint that I wasn't into him at all. His friends convinced him to make all the right moves, and my friends, pushed me and urged me to go on at least one date with him, just to say I did it. And so, after his constant pursuits, I finally accepted his offer.
Just by accepting that one offer, my entire life changed. I couldn't get enough of Caleb. He was wrapped around my finger, and wasn't going to go anywhere. He managed to crack me down, and break me from the mold. I, this little girl with a guitar, scored, somehow, the quarterback of the football team. He fell in love with me, and I? I fell, whole-heartedly, completely in love with him. I fell so hard. And he turned my entire world upside down.
We dated all throughout high school, and began making plans for our future. We were going to be married, in Nashville or LA or NYC. He was going to be a best-selling author, and I was going to be pursuing my singing career. And then, one day, he decided to go into the army. And he left for Afghanistan the day I departed for Nashville.
I counted my lucky stars, because he finally returned home to me last winter. Things are rocky, as he's in Texas and i'm in New York City doing preliminary recordings for my next album. I don't know exactly where I stand with him. I'm still completely in love with him, and I can't imagine a day where I won't be just that. I do know, however, that one do I'll be able to call myself Mrs. Amelia Jo Miller. And he knows that too."

"Newcomer, Amelia Crawford, aptly known as Mia Crawford, recently sat down with Taste of Country Magazine. In the interview, she dishes on her debut album, upcoming tour, and everything in between."
STERLING WHITAKER: Congratulations on all of your recent success, and welcome to Taste of Country Magazine. Let's start easy: how does it feel to have finally released your debut album?
MIA CRAWFORD: Thank you so much! Finally releasing "Mia" feels incredible. This album is my baby, and I've been working on it, and tweaking it the past few months. Finally having it out in the open, and out in the public is the icing on the cake.
STERLING WHITAKER: Could you talk a little about the process for this album?
MIA CRAWFORD: I did the majority of the writing on the album. Usually, for me, songwriting comes in the most odd of times. For instance, "Black Dress" I wrote in the middle of the night. A few of the other songs came during airplane rides, or in the shower. I then took those songs to my co-writers, Ashley Gorley and Sam Hunt. We collaborated on tweaking the songs, and then brought in producers. After months of editing, here we are!
STERLING WHITAKER: It sounds like you've been working with pretty famous singers and song-writers. How has that process been for you?
MIA CRAWFORD: Getting to work with artists, such as, Carrie Underwood, Joe Nichols, Sam Hunt and Ashley Gorley has been incredible. I've loved learning from them and getting to see their process. I hope to work them again on my next album.
STERLING WHITAKER: Your fans have been wondering if they will get to see you on the road sometime. Are you planning a tour in the future?
MIA CRAWFORD: As a matter of fact, I will be touring at some point in 2015. We don't have dates or locations ready yet, but plans are beginning to come together. We will be announcing something within the next few months, so keep a watch out!
STERLING WHITAKER: Thank you so much for sitting down with us today in your busy schedule. Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans?
MIA CRAWFORD: Thank y'all so much for being a constant supporter of me, my music, and my life in general. You all are the best fans in the world and I'll never know how to properly thank you for being so.
