NEW YORK ......................................... theodore "teddy" charles davenport (born april 1st, 1991) is an american businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist and hotel heir. he is currently the acting CEO of davenport industries, namely the davenport luxury hotel fleet. an only child to hotel magnate theodore charles davenport II and shipping heir adelaide banks, he grew up on manhattans upper east side. he attended the dalton school until senior year, which he spent at the milton academy. there has been much speculation as to the change as reports of an illicit relationship between a student and teacher also arose at the time. he studied at Columbia university, originally going into law before getting his MBA from columbia business school. He is currently the acting CEO of davenport industries after his father was affected by a stroke in early 2014. in his personal life he has been linked to other socialites such as mathilde vanderbilt, caggie dunlop, pixie santos and the late grace von beck. although in an interview in late 2013, he claimed his first love would always be sailing. .........................................
