My name is Dashiell River Rayburn, better known as Dash. I'm twenty-one and I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. You can get those little brackets ready, you know, the (1994-20XX) ones? I had a kidney transplant a year ago and though it was a total success, illnesses like mine don't just go away forever. Still, I managed to go to college enough to pass, and now I've just gotten a job as an in house graphic designer at Saks. So I guess from here until the foreseeable future, New York is home. .......................................................  .............................................  "You don't know helplessness until someone you love gets real sick. I wouldn't wish it on anyone... the illness, or that feeling of hopelessness. My little brother spent years on a waiting list for a kidney donation, but 'cause the little fucker had a rare blood type none of us matched up. It sucked, honestly sucked so hard, watching him have dialysis almost every day. Thank god his mom's a nurse, 'cause it gave him as normal a quality of life as anyone could hope for.
