Orla Noelle Houghton is a twenty-two year old Burlesque dancer from Fayetteville, NC. Her father is a deli owner, and her mother is a full-time elementary school teacher. She moved from North Carolina to Los Angeles when she was eighteen years old to pursue her love of dance. She began dancing at the age of two, and hasn't stopped since. She began dancing at La Maison in Los Angeles in 2011, and has been working there ever since. When she is not dancing at La Maison, she can be seen picking up shifts at The Brickyard Pub, or at her apartment cuddling with her dogs, Bear and Sophie.
"I began dancing at the age of three, and by the time I was fifteen, I was already developing and discovering my sexuality and sensual side. I always had this "air" of sex appeal, and knew that when I turned eighteen, I wanted to get the hell outta Fayetteville and make it out in Hollywood. I showed up at La Maison, Nikki's club back in 2011 -- eighteen, fresh outta high school. I began working as a waitress, and she took me under her wing and transformed me into a Burlesque dancer. I love the sexiness, the sultriness of it...I love dancing and to combine my sex appeal with that is literally my dream come true. I couldn't ask for a better job, a better place to call home. "
"I'm a southern girl, through and through. Don't get me wrong, I love North Carolina and I love home. Hell, it's my home, for crying out loud. This placed raised me. I went to hell and back in Fayetteville. I did things I shouldn't have done; broke curfew, had my heart broken here, fell in love for the first time here. I grew in so many places and ways here, and I could never forget where I come from. North Carolina will always have a place in my heart, and when I get enough money, I'll make it a point to make more visits out there. I love my home, but I also love LA, and LA has work. And North Carolina couldn't provide that for me. So for now, LA is home. "
"Ben Ashworth. He was my next door neighbor for as long as I could remember. Our families went to church together, I grew up with Ben. We were always close. He was always hanging around, whether to hang out with my older brother, Isaac or to catch a kiss or two from me. We didn't really develop any feeling for each other until eighth grade. And then the summer came around..and things got heated, very very fast. During our sophomore year of high school, there wasn't a moment that we weren't on each other, or around each other. We would sneak out of our houses and meet in his truck for a quickie. He opened me up to explore my sexual side, and he encouraged anything and everything. We dated each other - on and off consistently, might I add, until about a year ago. Then I discovered that the whole long distance thing wasn't working and he was cheating on me with one of my best friends. I called off our engagement - yeah, we were supposed to get married too. And ended my friendship with Sara. What an asshole. "
"I've known Rex for as long as I've been in Los Angeles. I started hanging out around the bar he works at shortly after I got here, and we just kinda became friends? I don't know. We were both hella awkward and we were still in relationships with other people. I was always attracted to him. I mean, yeah he has hair longer than mine and could crush me with one fell swoop, but damn do you see him? Like. What. Anyway, after I ended things with Ben and after his girlfriend and child died, he kinda got closed off. And I tried to comfort him as best I could, but that comfort turned into sex. I think that's what we both needed, you know? And that's been going on for quite a while. It's just sex. Friendly sex. I don't think it'll ever extend past that because neither of us want that right now. But he's cool to hang out with, and he's not so bad in the sack. "
"I grew up with animals all around our house. We always had a never-ending supply of strays -- whether that be dogs or cats or any other wild creature that made it's way onto our property. My father grew up with dachshunds, and so naturally, he brought them into our household at a very early age. My earliest and most fondest memories often included our dachshunds. They were often in pictures, and I have memories of playing with them throughout my life. So when I moved out to LA, I wanted so desperately to get my own but it was never the right time, you know? So a few months ago, I discovered a friendly, well-to-do owner a couple hours north of LA. I went out to visit and fell in love with this set of dachshunds. They're siblings, so I couldn't not take them together, you know? They've been with me for about a month now and I couldn't be more in love."
