She's not competitive in nature and she doesn't desire to be better than everyone around her, she just genuinely tries to be great. Maybe great isn't the right word, she tries to be well-rounded. Julia wants to be the smartest she can be, the prettiest she can be, the funniest she can be and above all - the kindest she can be. Julia has always had an empathetic soul, especially for the troubled and weak. When she was a kid she used to save all the spider's in our house, she used to have lemonade stands and send the money to the children's hospital. She's smart too; once my hamster had babies and one was born without back legs, she used a Hotwheels car's wheels and made a wheelchair for him. Her brain and looks have been good to her, especially when it came to handling others. She left high school as both prom queen and valevictorian, she came out with a modeling contract and an acceptance into an ivy league. She could have spent the summer before school partying and hanging out with her friends, she spent it in Zambia teaching children. Jules is a do-gooder and always tries to do the best for others. It's what everyone loves about her most but it's also her greatest downfall. She has difficulty making decisions on her own behalf, such as her major. She's changed what she's wanted to do with her career multiple times. At Christmas she told me she was going to be an architect but today she told me she's going into law. There was always talk about medical, but she's squeamish around blood. So far her job list has been: dog, firefighter, vet, mechanic, florist, artist, doctor, blacksmith, make up artist, olympic runner, singer, architecture, interior designer, mom, and now, lawyer. She's a great girl, with an ambition to be everything and a curiosity to be envied. - Roger Astaire (brother)
