PERCY I am glad she’s okay! Hopefully you’ll be able to see them soon. How’s the rest of your fam? Yeah. I stayed in London for a while. My sisters husband left her. I was helping my niece out a lot. My dads still a piece of shit. Showed up so late. She remembered him. You knew my feelings towards him. My mum yelled at me for a year straight I wasn’t living right. Took a few months later to get there.

MADS I hope so, though it's really bad in California right now. Parents are alright, Millie's good also, has a 2 year old now. Been a busy few years! We all have our own way of processing, don't be so hard on yourself or put any blame toward that and what happened to your mom. Sorry about your sister too though, I'm glad you could be there for her.

PERCY I heard it's pretty bad there. I'm glad that your family is staying safe though. Holy crap Mille has a two year old? It sounds like a busy few years. Just can't wrap my head around that! Do you love the Aunt life? I know and you're right. It still really nags me though. I got to be there with her all through quarantine. Never in my life would I be so happy that I got locked down in London.

MADS Yeah, wild right? From a model to a momma in such a quick time. She's a cutie though, I love spending time with them! World works in mysterious ways. 2020 being a prime example.

PERCY Good for her though! Aunt/uncle life is the best in my opinion. No real responsibility when dealing with kids. Very 2020. What else is new with you?

MADS A great point, you can always just hand them back at a certain point. So cute though, even when they're a little messy. Ummm, god. I have no idea. I live in West Village now, my mom's still on Housewives, just told you about my sisters. Only have plants for pets. Funemployed. Vodka martinis still my preferred beverage. I have too large of an affinity for crossword puzzles. Ta-da. Anything else with you?

PERCY Yep. It's why I never minded with my niece too much. And how much could be fucked up within a few hours?  I saw your mum was still on housewives. Do you make an appearance every now and then? A vodka martini, a Madelyn classic. Haven't thought about that in a while. Some good nights we had after many martinis.  Big one was my company. Which honestly was the biggest relief of my life. It took a big hit with COVID. It's doing better now, so maybe it just needed fresh eyes and for me to take a step back haha. I still love old scotch. Oh and I finally learned how to cook. Big time right there.

MADS With toddlers? So much more than you ever think. It's truly amazing. No, when we left we left full stop. I think the only rights they still have are old footage and like, saying my name, which is nice. But they can still fully con me into other programming, I guess. Yeah, some funny times. Less pressure on you too, like you said. And probably less structured/back end stuff. Whoa though - you mean your oven isn't filled with old newspapers any longer? That was such a fire hazard, you know.

PERCY Maybe it's a good thing I'm not around my niece so much. That's not a bad gig for you. Getting your name thrown around a little bit but not having the big pressure of making the appearances, etc. It's much better. It was nice to get my photos out there and not attached to just my family name, Oh the newspapers!! You remember that? Yeah, no fire hazard for me anymore. Though not gonna lie.....it's only been a few months since the newspapers have been out of there.

MADS Part of their appeal. I'd rather just be out of the narrative entirely, but y'know. Beggars can't be choosers. And how could I not, I was thankful I checked once or your whole place would have gone up in smoke on the off chance I tried to make cookies. Well, you also haven't been home too much I bet. So I'll let that slide.

PERCY Yeah at least you don’t have to be apart of the drama anymore. Thank god you used to check. Imagine if that old apartment would’ve caught on fire. The landlady I charmed would’ve hated me. If you’re up for it, I’d love to show off my new skills for you.
