 name Desdemona Neve Heishang ________________________________________ Daisy Heishang, known around the art world as Tokyo, is a twenty-four year old Nevada native who stumbled on our radar three years ago. Her talent for catching the beauty of the world around her with clean strokes of a pencil or an art brush has stormed the artistic nation and blindsided formerly prospective talents. The thing that seems to draw everyone to Daisy, however, seems to be her nonchalant personality and disinterest in fame despite possibly being able to stand next to some of the greats with her talents.   how long have you been doing art and modeling & what got you interested in it? i've been doing art since i was five years old. i've always had a rather advanced skill when it comes to drawing and catching the beauty of things. i do some photography, but it's not a skill as much as it's a hobby. i don't really do modeling. i've been picking up jobs for a little over a year now for places like nastygal and urban outfitters and the like. hipster cliche clothes, i guess you can say. have you always lived in new york? have you ever seen yourself living elsewhere? no. i grew up in las vegas. my mom always made sure to tell me to stay away from new york because that's where her side of the family lived, but i never did listen well. i moved to new york when i was eighteen but i might as well not have lived here. i travel a lot. what inspires your everyday life? the thrill. if it gives me a thrill i'm more inclined to enjoy it. i'm restless and always actively seeking a new thing to try. i'm a daredevil of sorts. if you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? i'm obsessed with sushi. i have to have it at least once a week. so that. where do you see yourself in ten years? professionally and personally? i just hope i'm enjoying life. i don't have any goals as far as my art and modeling go. i just do it because it's there to do, but who knows what might catch my interest in the next ten years? i might even decide i want to be married with kids. i don't know and i'm not going to pretend to know.   what do you love most about art? it's a way of explaining that of which can not or should not be explained. describe yourself in 5 words clever, selfish, blunt, charming, and hilarious. what are three things you couldn't live without my phone, cigarettes, and vodka. where would we find you on the weekend, or on your day off? partying or on my way to another country. i live every day like it's a day off so it's nothing special when i don't have anything to do that day. what have you been listening to recently? i keep playing that song problem by iggy azalea and ariana grande. stop me. who is your #1 role model, dead or alive? my dad. he's the best biker dad in the world.   ________________________________________ your name cailyn |
