Aaron Ah, right. Can do. She’s doing great, been helping out a lot with Ash and the baby. Feelin like a grandma now I suppose. I’ll be driving that way next month to see everyone.

SAMIRA Is she excited about that? How is everyone out there? I hope doing alright.

Aaron Oh she loves it, leanin right into it. Said she was glad someone was giving her grandkids to spoil. She and Tom will be ten years together next year, might finally have that ceremony in the spring.

SAMIRA Ah, the parent pressure is on! That's exciting for them, though. I'm glad some happiness has been found for everyone, or some connection at least. Speaking of, mine are very grateful for their gift.

Aaron She wanted to wait til I was out, then covid and the baby pushed things back. I know it's a ways away but I was hoping maybe you could come with me. Honestly it was my favorite project of the year. We make a good duo, despite Ish.

SAMIRA Just let me know when you have the date, I'll make sure I have off work. Excited to celebrate her and hopefully meet everyone. He'll claim we couldn't do it without his 'moral support' but I think we always have. He does entertain, I'll give him that one. Any updates on the mystery girl?

Aaron I will. Me too, I'm becomin partial to wearing suits. He's been dodgin you real well about that lately huh? He was this close to bringing her to the party.

SAMIRA Finally not feeling so suffocating? Yes, he has! And I don't know why! Such a big secret, he must really like her.

Aaron Finally size it right and it's not half bad. Better than my old uniform, and gets me treated a little differently. I don't think it was the right atmosphere to meet us. Or maybe us both are too much. Would you be mad if I met her first?

SAMIRA Was it weird, at first, to suddenly have so many choices for things? No, but my curiosity would bubble over. You'd owe me a few details, at least.

Aaron The little everyday things, mostly. Thinking about clothes and meals everyday felt like a lot of wasted time at first. OF course. Well I know a couple details from conversations here and there, what do you want to know?

SAMIRA It's all very overwhelming sometimes, even for an everyday person. Usually I try to shop tired so my effort stays low, just grab the first thing I see in the right spot. Everything. But I don't know, what do you think he'd forgive you for telling me?

Aaron I just bought 7 of the things I liked and dressed the same way everyday. Havin your mom's food really spoiled me, then she got wise to it and started making me help. He knows you'll know, he's just trying to slow you down. She goes by Jessa, a year or two older than us, from the Midwest. They met on set of that sci-fi thing he filmed that got jammed up, she's some type of consultant to make sure things are accurate on set. She's cute, he showed me a picture.

SAMIRA So essentially, a uniform. I did see a cardigan the other day from you, looked cozy. And hey, at least you got to learn that way. Can lead a horse to water, however that one goes...
