Benicio No no of course not. I sent some ahead of time. But it was a present for the groom. You might be surprised, it has been all wine, Aperol and Prosecco for me.

R O S I E Ah, he's leaning in. All very celebratory at least - until you have one too many bubbles and everything seems like a great purchase at the leather shops. Fun so far?

R O S I E So six hour long dinners, little coffees and lots of chit chat? No, no, enjoy it for you. I'm sure it'll be a marathon of celebrations - when does Camille arrive?

Benicio So foreign, it's not like me at all huh? She was in Italy already for work but she'll be here later for the big dinner and stay all weekend. What are you doing?

R O S I E Not one bit, how will you ever survive? Nice timing on her part, then - I'm on a walk up the west side, no real plans just wanted to get out of my apartment so an aimless walk it was.

Benicio I don’t know, I haven’t even made it out of my first dinner yet from last night. Oh I see it’s your walking and talking time. That sounds nice, is it hot again?

R O S I E You might just have to miss the wedding! Very, but the wind off the water makes it a little better. Likely will give me an excuse to buy a giant iced coffee in a few minutes, more fuel for the walking and typing. What events do they have planned? Seems massive.

Benicio Another free day, are you going crazy yet? She’s Italian, he’s Colombian, so big parties, lots of music. Before the wedding there is la serenata, the groom performs for everyone. There’s a mix of traditions. Do you like weddings?

R O S I E I'm very close. Another month off and I think I'd start working the front desk at my pilates studio just to have a schedule of some sort. Is that traditional for Columbian weddings? What if they had stage fright? I do. Haven't been to many, but I like loved ones celebrating love.

Benicio I was waiting for you to start organizing my schedule or balancing my accounts. When's the first day again? I've been to enough to claim yes, there's a lot of overlaps. But I've never met a shy Colombian. That's what the tequila is for, you see. I've been to a lot and I still enjoy them.

R O S I E I ended up doing my brother's while he was here, you were spared. Right after Labor Day. Ah, it all makes sense now. Depending on who's getting married they're definitely a bit of a bender, too.
