Jack You work quickly, I'll give you that. Syl and I are going to my parents' place for Thanksgiving, then London for Christmas. These are our first proper holidays together so we're splitting. What about you?

Jack We know each other's families and she's been to Montana before, so only the London bit is new. It is far but it's her home, I can't wait to see it. Have you been to Philly?

Jack In no time I'm sure. The Bos are the best folks. His mom and mine are sisters, Laurie's a sweetheart and very sharp. Rob is a big teddy bear, real funny guy too. Hold your liquor and make a sports reference, they'll love you.

Jack Have Pat feed you some lines during a game. Or just mimic everyone's cheers or boos, it's easy. Sylvia's dad is nuts, it's like he's lived multiple lives. Crazy stories, very sociable, a real charmer. Sylvia's mum is...caring in her own way? They don't get on very well, I know more of her than her personally if that makes sense.

Jack You can be into people who are into sports, there's the loophole. It would mean a lot to me if her brother and father knew beforehand, yeah. Do you think that's all too archaic? Yeah well you can't choose your family and all that.

s t a s s i he's met my older sister maya a few times, they're good friends now i think. that's it, he'll probably meet my little sister one of these days but can't see us rushing to meet my parents. does your family like sylvia?

Jack Sure sure, no rush. Go at your own pace, don't look at me and Syl for guidelines. My family loves her. I have a brother and sister, both younger. Actually my mom even dyed her hair to match Syl when she first did it.

Jack They're quite close, it's cute. Maggie's a teacher in Idaho, she's a great mom and a big Swiftie. Peter's a ranger in Yellowstone, he's happy if he sees more animals than people.
