Drew Driving up to Carmel for a few days of wine tasting and general escape. 🤎 First he gets his goldfish week. Dinner works fine too. Give me a day of the week and I'll make arrangements.

Samira What is a goldfish week? Hmm, how is Tuesday? After 8.

Drew Oh I always forget that's not a thing. It's his decompression week. He had a story about putting a carnival goldfish bag into an aquarium to let it acclimate to the water so he could keep it, we've called it that ever since. I'm on a Greek kick, is that ok?

Samira I was hoping that meant he just spends a full week in a sound bath. Great for me, the more vegetables the merrier. Find somewhere near you, I like the drive.

Drew Not a bad idea if that gets the Nebraska out of him faster. That boy yearns for the fields. My pleasure, I'll send the deets. How are you feeling today?

Drew 72, but probably 30 of that was already from Cowboy Carter. New experiences, new people, silver linings? Do you want to talk about it?

Samira Yeehaw! I was just caught off guard is all. But this world can be very surprising, yes.

Drew But not Nebraskan level. Have you talked to him?

Samira Yeah, kind of the next morning. I guess they got set up recently by his famous friends.

Drew He was that ex way back in NC, right? I think before my time though.

Samira Correct. We grew up together, I've known him forever. We kind of lost touch when he enlisted but he's been back for a bit and we all reconnected. It was just startling, I guess. Of all people, him.

Drew They seemed chummy already. I hope that didn't ruin the whole experience, I had no idea of all the parallels.
