Pat I don't mind it as long as she plans on doing something else, eventually. There's parameters established. But what the timelines is on that 'eventually', I don't know. I guess I gotta figure that out.

Jack She seems like a smart and adaptable girl, and social media is a vast playground. But I imagine there's a lot of worry and risk involved with change, sure. Sylvia's brain would be a good one to pick, she's got that book deal in the works, brand deals, all that stuff.

Pat Yeah that's a good call. I'm pretty close with Stas' sister too, she's helpful. Just one day at a time anyway, right?

Jack Hang in there, especially with the stuff that pops up around holidays. I could be hearing worse, right? You aren't screaming at each other or breaking up every other day, shit like that.

Pat You're right, we're not. Like we said, just figuring it all out as we go. She's different from anyone I've ever dated before too. Can't wait to hear about how your Thanksgiving goes. And by that I mean what Petey's girlfriend brings and who drinks too much red wine this time around. Is it bad if I bet on Sylvia?

Jack Sounds like you break each other's molds. Opposites attract, I believe it. Did I mention she's vegan? Can't wait to explain that to grandpa who kills the turkey himself on Thanksgiving Eve. She'll have the wine, I'll have my whiskey ditches. Luckily we're all lazy Catholics so we'll be allowed to stay in the same room and only be needled about marriage and kids a few times. Maybe the Revolutionary War gets brought up, who knows.
